FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q- HOW MANY GUESTS CAN THE GALLERY ACCOMMODATE?

A- Metro can seat up to 200 guests. Our average event is 160.  The gallery can accommodate up to 300 for a mixer style event.


Q- CAN WE BRING IN OUR ON FOOD AND BEVERAGES?

A- You are welcome to bring your own food and beverage, have a friend or family member prepare or hire a caterer of your choice. We can also recommend vendors.


Q-HOW LATE CAN WE BE IN THE VENUE?

A- Closing is Midnight. 


Q- WHY DON'T YOU OFFER THE SHOWER PACKAGE ON SATURDAYS?

A- Saturdays are prime days. We can offer the Shower Package but the pricing would be much higher. The reason we can keep the shower package at under $500 is because we are offering on Friday evenings and on Sundays.


Q- CAN WE BRING IN ALCOHOL?

​A- You are welcome to bring in alcohol. You cannot sell alcohol without a license. If your event is a fundraiser and your organization is a 501 c3 you can get a one day permit from the ABC.  Some restaurants and caterers have off- sale licenses.  Any individual, group or business selling alcohol must have the required permit and it must be posted at all times during the event. In addition to the permit you must have written permission from Metro Galleries to sell alcohol. All laws regarding serving and selling alcohol must be obeyed.


Q- CAN WE DECORATE?

​A- The venue is an art gallery. There is always an exhibit on display.  We do have the paper lanterns seen in many of the photos and would be happy to put them up for you. We do not remove any of the exhibit from the walls.


Q- WHERE CAN OUR GUESTS PARK?

​A- There is street parking available and the 7 story city parking garage is 1/2 block away at the corner of 18th and Eye Streets.
